Ray Allen isn’t just the king of 3s; he’s the king of PEs. This year he inked his name into the history book for both categories, when in a February match-up against the rival Lakers, Sugar Ray hit his 2,560th and 2,561st career three-pointers. The basketball world was delighted to see him take the top spot, but the sneaker community was tuned in to his feet on that night in Boston. Allen suited up in a mismatching pair of Air Jordan 9s and 11s in warm-ups, but ultimately laced up a new Air Jordan 13 PE identical to the pair we see here. Now it looks as though that special shoe, which partners white leather and green nubuck, will release later this year. No exact date is known just yet, but this PE will likely be limited and highly collectible.
